Good book, the authors sometimes skips a few scene and assuming we will make some of the not so obvious connections, but it's ok since a lot of it is explained in the end. Overall good read :)Product details

Great book i couldnt put it down and finished it in just over a day. i hope she keeps the series going.
The series was one of the best I've read. Though there was a lot of mistakes grammatically it was great. I really want to find out the secret in the epilogue.
It was difficult to enjoy the story with the misspelled words, sentences that looked like the author changed what she wanted to say in the middle of them and didn't bother to proofread, and the homographs. The story seemed rushed as well. Good idea, poor execution.
I loved this series! This book was a heart jerker, but very good. I loved all the characters, and the story was great!
Terrific series. The city book closes many holes and answers most questions. But why the epilogue? Mirror mirror under the sheet ........?
It's just like seeing old friends again when I get to read one of Rain Oxford's series' new books. As everyone comes back into play - Mordon, Dylan, Ron, Divina, etc. - I find myself smiling and ready to hear about how they have been doing since I last "spied" on them through the author's writings. And for a family gal like me, I was especially pleased to find that, on top of seeing things through different family member's eyes, the kids we have been previously introduced to have grown up enough that we can also get their points of view on things and see how much they have grown and learned! ) And it was a surprising amount; Dylan won't have to worry about his or his wife's legacy...
On a more serious note, as you may have gathered from the title, this book had basis more grounded in the "human" (i.e. two legged) side of things than it did in a couple of former books in the series that involved more creatures. Demons, demi-gods, guardians, and now a witch hunter?? The author did a fantastic job at getting the readers' attention with the hunter from the first mention of him, slowly answering the questions about him as the story progressed...I have to say, he was not what I expected. Nor did I expect to see a new love blossoming between a new couple in the story, either! It was really charming to "watch" it happen, and to get some new perspectives on the way things unfolded in the worlds.
Speaking of which, I am always impressed when I return to this series that Rain keeps consistent track of names, places, and relationships when there is so much to keep up with! The mark of a good author. I look forward to seeing her future publications. )
